Show up with a sleeping bag and a smile!
The cost of this weekend of food, friends, and fun is a minimum donation of $75 per camper. We hope that you agree that this is a very reasonable cost for a multi-day trip with about 45 other wonderful queer people! Your contribution not only covers your cost, but also helps someone else fund a surgery or procedure that is often difficult to get, not covered by insurance, not supported by some family members or workplaces, and often require years of waiting.
In 2023, we paid for someone's laser hair removal for bottom surgery.
In 2024, we awarded someone $2,000 to help cover living expenses during their top surgery recovery.
What's Included?
All listed food plus common sense extras
The massive shared campground space
A spot in our large-group shared tents (if you choose to claim it)
All listed activities, supplies, and instructors (except for the plain shirt that you need for tie dye - we can provide this for a small fee or you can bring your own)
Large private standing-room tent for changing clothes / swimsuits (now featuring a sink for shaving!)
The knowledge that you helped someone get a gender-affirming procedure
What's NOT Included?
If you drive to camp, you need to pay a fee for multi-day parking (~21$)
If you opt to bring your own tent, you may need to pay ~15$ / night (THIS HAS NEVER BEEN ENFORCED, but is technically in the terms for our facility. Chances are low, but not zero)
The above costs are out of our control and cannot be pre-paid to us
Non-water beverages (BYOB alcohol allowed, but only beer / seltzer / wine and no glass containers)
IMPORTANT: QC has a longstanding tradition of the SHARED DRINK COOLER. Whether it's alcohol or soda, please bring a pack of something to share. We will keep the drinks cool and available to all. We will not have cooler space for drinks that aren't for sharing except for those who need them for medical reasons - e.g., diabetes, allergies
Bedding - bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping mat
Deodorant - might be a good idea
Toothbrush (we won't share ours, sorry)
Footwear that you can walk in
Clothing that can handle some dirt and sweat
Swimsuit and towel
BUG SPRAY AND SUNSCREEN (try to bring your own, we have a few for emergencies)
Electricity (there are no plugs on the site. There are a few public plugs around the greater site area. An average 10,000mAh power bank is enough for most folks)
Snacks for between meal times (hot dogs and leftovers will be available throughout)
